Scout: BrickBox

We discovered the BrickBox storage box solution over a year ago and instantley fell in love, it looks like something straight out of an Ikea catalogue and would be perfect for most homes. Its essentially a storage box that can be stacked and locked together to form a book case or room divider, whats clever is that each box has handles at the side which makes it ideal if you want to move it's position or when moving house as you just disconnect the boxes, pick them up and go with all the contents already inside.

The BrickBox's come in two sizes, large and small boxes which form the ends of the stacked units if you want to mix up the variation of stacking. They also come flat packed to begin with which takes up less space in transportation, sounds all good doesn't it however, here is the disappointing part.

As much as we love the product and appreciate the quality materials used to create it, the BrickBox is really let down by its price. Buying a single large BrickBox won't come cheap and varies depending on which region of the world you live in, even if you buy multiple boxes to form a complete set using the current 20% discount on offer won't do much to help the final bill. A real shame when this is clearly a great product, if only the BrickBox team could find a way to mass produce these for a cheaper price whilst maintaining some of the original quality.
